Space Coast Beach - Jetty Park - Cape Canaveral Cruise Port Destination.

Cape Canaveral is a very popular cruise port on sailings from the port of New York and New Jersey. The port does have allot to offer day passengers (depending on the length of the stay). There are cruise line shore excursions / day trips (at an extra cost) to the theme parks including Universal Studios, Disney and more. The NASA Space center tour is not far from the port and a great way to spend the day.  There is a visit to Coco Beach to shop and pick up souvenirs. Also there is a state park (Jetty Park), not far from the cruise port (short walk or cab ride depending on  where the ship docks),  for swimming in the warm Florida waters.
