Norwegian Escape Nostalgic Arrival.

Due to the size of the ships today, and the amount of supplies and luggage associated with large ships, ships normally arrive in New York / New Jersey between 1:30 AM and 5:00 AM. The ships are docked and luggage is already on the pier before the sun comes up.

The Norwegian Escape's arrival today found the ship just off of mid-town Manhattan at 7:15 AM. It was a mild, clear, sunny morning and the large ship provided a treat to early morning risers along the iver's edge.

Due to the hard-work of the crew, the ship was able to offload 4,000+ disembarking passengers and embark 4,000+ new vacation goers and still depart New York on time at 4 PM.

Hats off to the crew!
