Disney Cruise Line's Disney Magic Disney Cruise Line's Disney Magic is making  her way up the New Jersey coast in route to New York. The Disney Magic is expected to arrive in New York Harbor early tomorrow morning. The Disney Magic will spend the Summer and Fall sailing from New York on 8-Day Cruises to Florida and Bahamas; 2-Day Cruises to Nowhere and 4 Day Cruises to Canada. Yorktown at Chelsea Pier in New York At about 10:00 PM on 5/23/2012 - the Yorktown sailed from Chelsea Piers in Manhattan enroute to Gloucester, Massachusetts for the start of her Maiden Voyage. The Yorktown sailed down the Hudson River, around the tip of Manhattan; Though Long Island Sound; through the Cape Cod Canal and up the Massachusetts Coast. The Yorktown is expected to arrive in Gloucester around 11 PM this evening (5/24/2012). Arriving Saturday (5/19/2012) and docking at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan, the ship was revealed to travel agents and the media. The Yorktown's first published sailing is from Gloucester Mass (on 5/24/20120 to Montreal Canada in 13 days. The Yorktown will sail through the Great Lakes for the majority of the summer, then fall-foliage cruises, Hudson River Cruises, Southeast US Coast, Mississippi River and Mayan Cruises. Built in Florida in 1988 specifically for coastal cruising and certified by the U.S. Coast Guard, the Yorktown flies the American flag and is staffed by friendly and experienced American officers and crew. 257 feet long, 43 feet wide, with a draft of 8 feet, the Yorktown is able to maneuver in secluded waterways and visit small ports that are inaccessible to larger vessels. Luxury Yacht Luna Pays a Visit to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal The luxury Yacht Luna spent the last week at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. The Luna belongs to billionaire Roman Abramovich who has a significant list of large luxury yachts. Launched in October 2009, the Luna was delivered to her owners on April 10, 2011 by Lloyd Werft and Stahlbau Nord Shipyards.  The 377 foot long ship incorporates an extremely luxurious and innovative design. Newcruise Design were responsible for M/Y Luna’s exterior styling, featuring two helicopter pads facing forward and to the rear around the large communications tower. She also holds transom doors at the sides, which lead directly to that yacht's tenders. First block set in place as Norwegian’s first Breakaway class ship begins to take shape In Papenburg Germany, on May 4th, at Meyer Werft Shipyard, the keel was laid for Norwegian Cruise Line's newest ship - the Norwegian Breakaway.
