Norwegian Gem Begins Sailing From Boston, Massachusetts

A long time familiar ship in New York Harbor, the Norwegian Gem left New York on March 28th after completing her prior Caribbean Cruise. The Norwegian Gem loaded supplies and stores for the upcoming cruise and left New York at around 2:00 PM, heading north toward Boston. The Norwegian Gem arrived in Boston around Noon on March 29th and sailed at 4 PM to begin her 2019 spring, summer and fall season from Bean Town.
The Norwegian Gem's Inaugural cruise was a 14 day sailing to the Southern Caribbean, Itineraries offered during the season will include Bermuda sailings, New England Canada cruises and Caribbean cruises.
Returning to New York to replace the Norwegian Gem will be the Norwegian Dawn, which will start sailing from the Big Apple on May 11th. Her Inaugural cruise will be a 7 Day New England Canada sailing calling at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Saint John New Brunswick Canada, Bar Harbor Me, Portland Me, and Newport RI.
