Cunard Announces Extended Pause In Operations Until November 2020. Impacts sailings for Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria. Luxury cruise line Cunard, announced that, as a result of the continued impact of Covid-19, it will be extending the pause in operations. For its ships Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, Cunard is cancelling all sailings that were due to depart up to and including 1 November, 2020 and for Queen Elizabeth, departures up to and including the 23 November, 2020. Impacted will be the majority of the Queen Mary 2's transatlantic season, European cruises and New England / Canada sailings. The majority of these would have been sailing from New York. It is unclear if the Queen Mary 2 will sail her extended cruise in January circling South America due to the Corona virus.
