Carnival Cruises' Carnival Sunrise Itinerary Altered Due to Hurricane Humberto

Due to Hurricane Humberto approaching Bermuda, Carnival Cruises has altered the 9/16 departure of the Carnival Sunrise from New York. Rather than sailing directly to Bermuda, the Carnival Sunrise will sail to Charleston, SC and then onto Bermuda - following behind the storm as it moves further out to sea.

Carnival made the adjustment for the comfort of their guests and and will continue to monitor Humberto and its track as the weeke progresses.

Cunard Line' Queen Mary 2 will sail an altered itinerary in Asia. Cunard Line Queen Mary 2 left New York on January 13, 2020 as part of a 113 day World Cruise. The current segment of this cruise is approaching a planned extended stay in Hong Kong. In late January, Cunard Line announced that the call by QM2 to Hong Kong on February 18/19 will be replaced replaced with a stay in Singapore. Hurricane Dorian Leaves Destruction In Its Path - Cruise Lines Offer Some Relief After greatly damaging Grand Bahama Island and the Abaco Islands, Hurricane Dorian is making its way slowly up the east coast of the United States. Based on the reported damage to Grand Bahama Island and the Abaco Islands, it may be years before life return to normal. With the significant damage and loss of life,  the island has a long path to rebuild. Many cruise lines have donated relief money including Carnival, Disney Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean. There was also a sizeable donation from the Arison family (founders of Carnival Cruises empire).
