Hurricane Dorian has had limited impact on cruises departing from New York, mainly because we are in the late summer/fall season.  At this time of the year, cruises ships from New York tend to head north to New England and Canada for cruise passengers to enjoy the splendor of the fall colors.

Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Dawn, Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas and Carnival Cruise's Carnival Sunrise would normally venture to the Bahamas, Florida and their Private Islands all in danger of suffering the wrath of Dorian. The Norwegian Dawn and Adventure of the Seas headed north to New England / Canada.

The Anthem of the Seas is sailing in New England / Canada and will be cruising to Bermuda later in the week.

The Carnival Sunrise is well below the storm in the Dominican Republic and will be heading up the coast either behind or around the storm.
