Last week also presented another unique visitor to New York City. Cunard's Queen Elizabeth made a call at the New York Cruise Terminal for a day to allow her passengers to enjoy a day in the Big Apple.

Arriving in New York at around 5:00 AM, the Queen Elizabeth spent a full 12 hours in port - allowing her passengers to explore.

The Queen Elizabeth called in New York City on 49 Day Cruise From Vancouver British Columbia Canada to Southampton England.

The Cruise went north from Vancouver on June 20th, 2019 to various ports in Alaska, California, Mexico Guatemala, Panama Canal Transit, Aruba, Florida, Halifax, Newfoundland, Iceland, Scotland. Ireland and Southampton England where the cruise ends on August 8th. The cruise is also sold in segments and an 18 day New York to Southampton segment was available.

The Queen Elizabeth was built in Italy in 2010 and measures 961 feet long and 105 wide weighing 90,901 tons. She carries a crew of 900 and 2,500 passengers. She will spend the rest of the summer sailing though out Europe.
