Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Encore to Sail from New York to  Bermuda 2020.


Norwegian Cruise Line has announced thier 2020 Cruise Ship Deployment from New York and Boston.

 In a surprise move, Norwegian Cruise Line is taking their newest ship - the Norwegian Encore and will deploy her on the New York to Bermuda circuit. In addition, the Norwegian Gem will also sail to Bermuda but she will sail from Boston.

 The highly rated Norwegian Pearl will sail from New York as well offering New England / Canada  and Florida / Bahamas cruises.

Bermuda – Norwegian Encore and Norwegian Gem

Following her inaugural season in the Caribbean, Norwegian Encore will reposition from Miami, Florida to New York City offering seven-day cruises to Bermuda beginning April 22, while Norwegian Gem will offer seven-day voyages from Boston to Bermuda beginning May 1. Both ships’ seven-day itineraries overnight in port offering guests three days in Bermuda.  

Bahamas & Florida / Canada & New England – Norwegian Pearl

As of May 23, for the first time, Norwegian Pearl will homeport in New York City offering select seven, ten and eleven-day cruises to Canada and New England with calls to Halifax, Nova Scotia; Saint John, New Brunswick; Bar Harbor and Portland, Maine; and Newport, Rhode Island. She will also offer seven-day voyages to Bahamas and Florida with visits to Port Canaveral, Florida; Nassau and Norwegian’s private island paradise, Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, which will have recently undergone enhancements as part of Norwegian Edge®, the company’s commitment to elevating the standard of excellence across its fleet and resort-style destinations.

Hurricane Dorian Leaves Destruction In Its Path - Cruise Lines Offer Some Relief After greatly damaging Grand Bahama Island and the Abaco Islands, Hurricane Dorian is making its way slowly up the east coast of the United States. Based on the reported damage to Grand Bahama Island and the Abaco Islands, it may be years before life return to normal. With the significant damage and loss of life,  the island has a long path to rebuild. Many cruise lines have donated relief money including Carnival, Disney Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean.
