Norwegian Cruise Line's New Norwegian Encore - Showcased to the Media and Travel Agents in New York City - Ship headed to Miami. On Wednesday 11/13/2019, Norwegian Cruise Line's newest ship, the Norwegian Encore left New York Pier 88 at 11:05 AM. The ship  has been in New York since its arrival late Sunday afternoon after a rendezvous with her sister ship Norwegian Escape. The Norwegian Encore played host to select Media and travel personnel in order for visitor to experience the onboard experience. The Norwegian Encore features a GO Cart Roadway and also a laser tag course. From a dining perspective, the ship offers many included and some additional fee restaurants. Keel-Laying Ceremony Held for Mardi Gras Set to Debut in Europe in August 2020

  Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Encore to Sail from New York to  Bermuda 2020. Norwegian Cruise Line has announced thier 2020 Cruise Ship Deployment from New York and Boston. In a surprise move, Norwegian Cruise Line is taking their newest ship - the Norwegian Encore and will deploy her on the New York to Bermuda circuit. In addition, the Norwegian Gem will also sail to Bermuda but she will sail from Boston. According to a Recent Lloyd Werft Press Release Crystal Cruises Newbuilds to be Bigger than Expected.

Artists Rendering of Crystal Cruises' New Ship Under Construction at Lloyd Werft 5/10/2016 - Today Crystal Cruises solidified it order with Lloyd Werft Group for its first ocean-going newbuild. This ordered signifies the first new ship for Crystal in more than a decade. The Lloyd Werft Press release identifies an order for 3 ships with the first being delivered in 2019. No delivery dates have been mentioned for the additional ships. As per the release, it appears that the ships will be larger than first expected. Original details stated that the ships would be about 100,000 tons, but it appears the ships will be 17% larger (expected to be 117,000 tons). Crystal Cruises which offers high-end luxury cruises, is expected to exceed passengers expectations with these new vessels which will have exceptional passenger / space ratios.
