Regent Seven Seas Takes Delivery of the Luxurious Seven Seas Splendor at Italy's Fincantieri Shipyard
Luxury Cruise Ship - Seven Seas Splendor Delivered By Italy's Fincantieri Shipyard to Regent Seven Seas |
The Seven Seas Splendor was delivered to Regent Seven Seas on January 30th at the Fincantieri Ancona shipyard. The Seven Seas Splendor is the second ship in the Explorer Class. The first ship, the Seven Seas Explorer was delivered by Fincantieri in 2016.
The Seven Seas Splendor is 55,000 gross tons, 224 meters long and is able to accommodate 750 passengers onboard in 375 spacious suites all including private balconies.
The Seven Seas Splendor will sail from Barcelona to Miami on February 6th and then tranist the Panama Canal to San Diego before returning to Miami.
The Seven Seas Explorer will depart Miami on April 1, 2020 enroute to Europe. She will celebrate a maiden arrival in New York on April 16 and then proceed to the Mediterranean where she will sail the Summer Season.
Another sister ship to the Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Sea Splendor will follows in 2023. At present Regent Seas Seas is operating 6 ultra luxury ships sailing world-wide itineraries.
