The Busy Cruise Week Around July 4th Was a Dud.

Norwegian Encore - One of Many Ships which were expected to sail from New York this past weekend. This past weekend had the potential to be a very busy cruise weekend - but due to the Coronavirus- mother-nature had different plans. On July 1st Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas was scheduled to depart Cape Liberty, Bayonne  on a 9-day Bermuda / Eastern Caribbean Cruise. On July 2nd the Carnival Sunrise was scheduled to depart Manhattan for a 4 day cruise to Bermuda. On July 4th Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Pearl and Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas were both headed to Florida and the Bahamas. On July 5th Celebrity Cruise' Celebrity Summit was slated to depart on a Bermuda & Newport RI cruise while the Norwegian Encore was scheduled for a 7 Day Bermuda Cruise. On July 6th Carnival Cruises' Carnival Sunrise was to sail a 9 Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise. Royal Caribbean's Empress of the Seas would have departed on a 7-day New England Ca...
