Currently undergoing a refits at the Blohm & Voss Shipyard in Hamburg, Germany, Cunard's Queen Mary 2 is having 35 staterooms added to her top deck. The initial frames to mount the structures to the deck have been hoisted aboard the Queen. In addition to these staterooms 15 single cabins will be added. Cunard Queen Mary 2 - Frames added to secure new staterooms to the existing deck. For the 13 year old ship, this major upgrade will add new dining establishments, existing lounges and staterooms will be totally upgraded. Our canine friends are not to be left out of this major refit - 12 additional kennels are being added.
